Artist collective Top Bunk are here to kick off summer with their eclectic new single 'I Don't Want to Dance' with accompanying video, coming soon.
The rebellious and contagious 'I Don't Wanna Dance' delivers a feel good and funny track just in time for the season. The accompanying video is a light hearted, lo-fi creation that takes you back to early 90's style music videos, with retro camera effects, bumping percussion and glitchy synths, 'I Don't Want To Dance' leaves you feeling like you just left the best house-party of the summer. They may not want to dance, but we sure do!
The track follows 2019 releases, breezy and feel good tracks 'Dang' and 'Calm Me Down'. Combining lo-fi and masterful production, a hodge podge of instrumentation, languages, and genres, Top Bunk have genuinely created a project that's uniquely theirs.
The east- Los Angeles collective came together in 2018, headed by brothers Yianni and Petro AP, and are creating music that fills in all the missing pieces in today's current pop culture scene. Top Bunk is comprised of musicians, visual artists and creators mixing mediums and genres to create a unique vision.
They have found distinct success as both a collective and individually having garnered praise from numerous tastemakers to writing and producing for artists like 6lack, Khalid, Dillon Francis, Enrique Iglesias, One Direction, and Martin Solveig and have already started and continue to make waves in the indie sphere with their contagious and refreshing energy.
With a home base in Silver Lake, these musicians, producers, and visual artists come together to build undeniable, dance-worthy tracks that are as insightful as they are amusing. After one listen, you'll be begging for an invite to their next house party.
