Following on from the release of 'Married In Vegas,' the lead single off their new upcoming studio album, The Vamps have released 'Chemicals,' as a way of sharing more of the album with their dedicated fans.
It's clear from listening to 'Chemicals' that The Vamps' sound continues to develop and mature over time. The funky and upbeat nature of this track makes it memorable and its beat will be resounding in your head for days on end! We're already looking forward to the time when we can hear the band - made up of members Brad Simpson (lead vocalist), Connor Ball (bass guitarist), James McVey (guitarist) and Tristan Evans (drummer) perform this track live!
Speaking about the release of 'Chemicals,' member Brad Simpson explains:
"'Chemicals' is a really important track for us. It's essentially the DNA of the album and a real indicator of what the 'Cherry Blossom' sound is."

'Chemicals' is taken off the band's upcoming fifth studio album, which is set for release in October 2020. With the success of previous albums and hit singles including 'Can We Dance,' 'Middle Of The Night' and 'Just My Type,' the band decided to take some time away from the spotlight to give their full attention to working on the album. They shared the 'Missing You' EP in 2019, closely followed by a headline tour around the UK & Ireland, and made their mark on the music industry again with the release of 'Married In Vegas'. We're incredibly excited to hear all the new music that the band have been working on!
'Chemicals' is out now. The single can be bought from iTunes here, along with pre-ordering the album. Additionally, the single can be streamed on Spotify by clicking here.
'Cherry Blossom' is set to be released on 16 October 2020.
