STRVCK RELEASE FEEL-GOOD TRACK 'AFTER HOURS'

LISTEN

Austin, TX duo STRVCK have released their newest single 'After Hours'.

The track was the first of several collaborations with producer and co-writer Max Frost and takes a euphoric and upbeat take on bedroom-pop with an indie-synth twist which compliment a distinctive vocal performance.

They say,

"We were inspired by bands like MGMT, Chet Faker, Jungle, and GOTYE, to attempt to make an energetic and slightly trippy feel-good song about lovers and friends keeping the party going long after the bars have closed."

STRVCK derives its name from an almost fatal accident in which singer Chelsea was struck by a bolt of lightning as he inserted his key to unlock the driver-side door of his vehicle, subsequently rushed to hospital, suffering a large cut on the back of his head, concussion and short term memory loss. Miraculously emerging from the event with no long term injuries, in early 2020, Cheslea and fellow Austin TX musician, Drew, joined forces to create the songwriting artist duo with a sound which bounces from a guitar driven indie rock to dreamy synth-pop.
