Sarpa Salpa Announce 'A Feeling You Can't Replace' Tour Dates

With UK shows and tours booked, dates being rescheduled and moved numerous times the recent unlocking of live venues has finally come to fruition as Sarpa Salpa can finally play their live trade across the UK with a mixture of headline, supports and festival dates revisiting some regular haunts as well playing debut shows in Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Bristol.

Sarpa Salpa released their EP ‘A Feeling You Can’t Replace’ in April, tying together their three most recent singles along with two new tracks and a remix. Building on their previous successes, the bands most recent release ‘Another Life’ garnered support from Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1 as well as on BBC Introducing (Radio 1), Radio X, Amazing Radio & across the Student Radio Association Network.

Clocking up some great radio success throughout lockdown the band enjoyed their most successful period to date but were unable to build on this success with their other key asset their live show.

The title of the EP ‘A Feeling You Can’t Replace’ is a lyric taken from track 4 ‘As Good as It Gets’. Guitarist George Neath goes on to say:

"The title ‘A Feeling You Can’t Replace’ sums up how we were feeling when writing this EP. We miss live music and the ability to interact with both our fans and other musicians. We are so grateful that we were able to write over the Internet but it cannot replace the feeling of performing live music together, we feel like many can relate to this at the moment.”

The tour is funded and supported by the PPL Momentum Fund the EP is scheduled for a limited edition vinyl release in October to tie in with the bands hometown headline show at The Roadmender, Northampton.
