Madison Beer released the Alan Walker remix of her streaming hit 'Selfish', after both artists teased the collaboration on Twitter.
The original track has already accumulated over 100 million streams to date and saw Madison consistently beating her daily best streaming numbers after it was added to Spotify's Today's Top Hits playlist. Being supported by Radio 1 and Beats 1, 'Selfish' has remained in the Top 100 of the Official UK singles chart and Spotify chart 15 weeks after release.
EDM artist, DJ and producer Alan Walker, who Madison enlisted to remix 'Selfish', has made a lasting imprint on the music scene over the past few years. Following the release of 'Faded' (which has earned multi-platinum certifications around the world), Walker has released a string of popular singles and accumulated more than 20 billion streams alongside collaborating with the likes of Sia, Bruno Mars, Avicii, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Julia Michaels and more.
Prior to signing with Epic Records late last year, Madison had already achieved unprecedented success as an independent artist, having sold over 1 million records in the UK. Her debut EP 'As She Pleases' has over 700 million streams to date and made her the first independent female solo artist to break into the Top 20 Radio Charts after having debuted in the Top 5 on iTunes in 18 countries and in the Top 10 in 42 countries worldwide. Globally, Beer has over 2 billion streams across her catalogue and has a social following that reaches an audience of over 18 million on Instagram, close to 3 million on Twitter and over 10 million on TikTok.
Madison's debut album 'Life Support', a strong personal and artistic statement, is slated for release later this year and sees Madison where she thrives - commanding complete creative control through writing her own songs, producing and creating her own visuals.
The album will feature previous releases which have a combined
total stream count of over 187 million.
