Having been featured on MTV USA and having performed for President Obama, Lana Lubany's EP 'Devil In My Eden' was highly anticipated.
The EP consists of 5 one-minute songs and showcases the London based artist's versatility, and includes influences from her Middle Eastern background.
The Palestinian/American emerging artist - who has accumulated over 3.87 million plays on soundcloud firstly released 2 one minute singles before dropping the EP on June 5th.
'Four' is a mellow, R&B-pop song about being stuck between four walls and losing your mind. Packing three minutes into one, the song caters to a digital world where attention spans are rapidly declining. Lana uses gentle-yet-powerful expression to convey a dark, sultry sound, incorporating her Middle Eastern heritage in her complex melodies. Her sound ranges from soft harmonies and powerful belts to cleverly crafted rhythmic rap.
Lana Lubany has always known a career in the music world was awaiting her. Growing up, she had the opportunity to perform for Barack Obama, Pope Benedict XVI, alongside Bobby McFerrin, Peter Yarrow of “Peter, Paul and Mary” and other notable artists and public figures at a very young age.
Debut EP 'Devil in My Eden' is out now including singles 'Alive in Hell' and 'Isolation' that dropped on May 8th and May 22nd respectively and a show scheduled in London, September 22nd, 2020 at The Half Moon in Putney.
