There is always something so captivating about each of Drew's releases, from 'Vultures' to 'Running Reds,' and this track is no exception. With such an outpouring of emotion with this track, he opens his heart to listeners, with his brilliant storytelling ability painting such an accurate description in the minds of listeners.

His vocals are truly exceptional once again and the emotion of the track is matched and truly conveyed in his phenomenal voice. The vulnerability of this track makes it even more endearing. You can't help but be drawn in by 'San Francisco.' This is a track that all listeners can relate to - we have likely all been in the heart-breaking situation where we miss someone who we love.

Speaking about the release of his new single on his social media platforms, he explained:

"I remember crying the first time I wrote this song. Maybe because I'm a walking emotion but also, because it was so lovely to remind myself of the things you can make in the darkest of places. I've never been to America, but I know how it feels to miss someone so much you feel sick inside. That's what this song is - a love note to anyone missing the person they love. I hope you guys love this one as much as I do."

While also releasing his own music, Drew has also amassed numerous multiple song-writing credits for the likes of artists such as Tom Walker, Casey Lowry and Natalie Shay. He derives inspiration from The Killers, Bon Iver and Radiohead.

'San Francisco' is out now.
