Alt-pop artist Beren Olivia returns with her hard hitting track 'History'.
'History' is a bold statement from Beren Olivia, who is quickly cementing herself amongst the brightest stars of the future. Starting out small and building into the anthem that it is, the track is ladened with synths and gorgeous guitar to create a sound which is pop perfection with an indie, electro twist. Whilst the lyrics tell the story of a complicated love story, Beren shows what she can do vocally, at the same time as staying vulnerable and delivering a truly emotional performance.
'History' was co-written by Beren Olivia and writing trio Captain Cuts, and features quality production by Dylan Bauld.
Finding success as a model and on stage, 22 year old Beren Olivia hasn't stopped this year since releasing her debut single 'Black Magic' in January. Honing her craft and teaching herself guitar from the age of just 13, Beren has since been spotted via Instagram by Grammy nominated producer Scott Robinson and flown around the world for dream studio sessions as well as tipped as one of the 'hottest independent artists in the world' by Music Business Worldwide.
Completely independent, Beren Olivia has now amassed over half a million streams and received editorial support from the likes of Spotify & Apple Music, as well as BBC Introducing.
