Hailing from the Brazilian countryside, singer / songwriter and visual creator Alissic, now based in Sheffield is set to make waves around the world with the release of her brand alt-electro pop track 'Everybody's Dead Inside' released via Ministry Of Sound.
Giving us a further insight into the strange and beautiful world that Alissic has created, the new single was premiered on Jack Saunders' Power Play show and co-written and produced with her husband Oli Sykes and fellow BMTH member Jordan Fish.
Alissic says of the track,
“The song was made in two days in a dark room, I had a vision that I needed to say goodbye to my depressed self and say hello to the rainbow fairies.”
Alissic’s world is a place already inhabited by her devoted and ever growing fanbase, with over 2 million followers across her socials and a healthy 6 million streams under her wings to date, she is without a doubt pop’s most audacious new star. After making her live debut at this year’s Great Escape festival, Alissic has a number of dates planned for the summer, including a coveted slot on the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds, and a headline performance at Jack Saunders’ Hopscotch night in June.
This determined, hyper-focused creative vision is already reaping rewards. Keep your eye on Alissic; this is only the beginning.
